Like all of the pieces in the Real Life Outdoor Nativity, these pieces are intricately detailed images printed on heavy metal. When you back several feet away from the pieces, the intricate process used in printing the images creates the illusion of three dimensional figures. The larger pieces fold in half for easy storage. The paint is UV resistant so it won't fade when exposed to sunlight. All the metal surfaces are painted in rust resistant paint. With care, this set is designed to last.
